Steven Carl McCasland: An Open Book
Steven Carl McCasland returns to the cabaret stage, making his Don’t Tell Mama debut, for his annual birthday show with Jimmy Horan on the keys. The two old friends are finally reuniting after far too long! During the pandemic, Steven’s been busy writing and seeing his work performed virtually for a global audience. Since he’s a storyteller, what better way to return to the stage than with an evening of story songs? The evening will feature tunes by Kander & Ebb, Harry Chapin, William Finn, Dolly Parton and more.
Steven Carl McCasland is the critically acclaimed playwright of Little Wars, which streamed globally at the height of the pandemic with an all-star cast featuring Juliet Stevenson and Linda Bassett. His other plays include What Was Lost, 28 Marchant Avenue, neat & tidy and more. When not writing or performing, he coaches singers of all backgrounds and ages.
